this is one of those situations where what you CAN do and what you SHOULD do are two different things. You can use anything you want in your bike but what you SHOULD use is motorcycle specific oil

its kinda like this: You CAN throw your best friend into a pit of hot ashes, but he's gonna be really pissed and may soon kick your *** for it

or how bout this: You CAN feed your dog car oil and he may survive, but I wouldn't expect him to be fetching the paper for you anytime soon

oh no...another one of these debates mang...
do a search...says a lot...even contains a link to someone's test results from using dino oil in a zx10r, run hard...from blackstone labs...
results...if using dino oil...change at most 2800 miles...as the oil does break down quicker than moto or synthetic oil.

At what point is is OK to shift from OEM Honda oil to say Redline Synthetic oil? I've had great luck with RedLine in my Vettes.

That's funny. Something like that.
Jet Jockey Z06 Vette I have a love for REPSOL 4t racing 10w-50 w/ HONDA filters. I change my every 2,5k mi and start using at 5,5k mi.

I picked up some of the repsol at the International Motorcycle Show in ATL and its been great so far. I've heard some mixed opinions but so far its awesome.
I use K&N oil filters mainly because its easy to put on with no need for those crappy oil filter wrench attachment things and it has the holes for safety wire already in there so I don't have to use a hose clamp
