i have alot of noise from the cam chain tensioner, mechanic says its normal but it bugs me does anyone else get that. its been doing that scince it was new.

 

what year is your bike? yeah my 06 rr does that too its gotten alot quieter than it was which my honda dealership sucks everyone is asses and dont want to explain ne thing but yeah i got another mechanic to listen to it and he revved it to so many rpms for a few seconds and let off real fast and it wasnt doin it nearly as bad he says that they adjust themselves and sumtimes need a lil help and said that it is normal although there is a way to fix the noise urself, but i have'nt bothered but yeah thats what i know on that subject......... good luck

 

mine is an 03' its not bad but just annoying. mechanic says its about a $500 job to put in a new one but i thought mabie there was a quik fix
