Default Ca vs 49 state bike?

What is the difference between a california bike and a 49 state bike? How can i make a california state bike to a 49 state bike? Thanks

Dont know the details but its basically harsher emissions requirements.

the california bike has an O2 sensor while 49 state bike doesn't from wat i heard...but most bikes are 50 state legal

I looked over the shop manual and found this about the CA bikes:

The California type is equipped with two three-way warm-up catalytic converters, a three-way catalytic converter, and a
heated oxygen sensor.
The three-way catalytic converters are in the exhaust system. Through chemical reactions, they convert HC. CO, and NOx
in the engine's exhaust to carbon dioxide (COZ), dinitrogen (NZ), and water vapor.
No adjustment to these systems should be made although periodic inspection of the components is recommended.
