Buying a header for the bike
I have a 2006 cbr600rr. I have a yoshimura slip-on pipe right now. Im looking to buy an aftermarket header for the bike. Will I need to buy a power commander too? Or will the bike run fine after installing the header?? I just want to make sure its not going to hurt the performance of the bike and cause it to run lean or anything like that.

Hey guys whats up! I have a 06 600rr with a carbon fiber slip on exhaust w/ a PC3. My buddy recently ordered headers for his 05 600rr that Jardine makes. He has a hotbodies exhaust & his was already loud, now his bike sounds like a race bike. Anyways I liked so much that I ordered a set for my bike. Starcycle.com has them, but I have seen them occasionally up for auction on ebay. Once I get my headers, I will let you know how the install goes & how it sounds & feels.

I just had my bike ran on the dyno last saturday. Im kinda glad I decided to wait on getting a header becuz the bike is really running lean up until about 10,000 rpms. So Im gonna get a power commander first to level out the fuel trim before I go with a header. But all my bike has done to it is a yoshimura slip on exhaust and it put down 107 hp to the tire.
Jardine headers are going on ebay pretty cheap here and there. Some sets sold for $150.00
