Brake Noise

My bike is literally brand new. It has 32 miles it. I was wondering if it was normal for it to make a smooth grinding noise. Its a higher pitched kinda like a metal on metalsound. I didnt know if it was just how the brake sounded or it it was just being broken or worn in. Let me know if this is wrong, beause if so, there is a bunch of s*** wrong with m bike! Thanks Guys/Ladies

it's normal. I'll bet it goes away the moment you touch the brake...

Go brake hard several times in the street,(where it's safe) just go and progressivly brake harder each time. Make sure you can keep control but do this several times and see if it helps.(and use both brakes!)

what it does is bed the pads into the rotor.

With the miles he has on the bike, they should already be bedded in...and with the stock pads from the factory that shouldn't be an issue...they're always in contact with the rotors and they make a rubbing noise which is completely normal. My bike is almost 4 years old and still makes that rubbing noise!
