Sorry to thread jack, but DAMN does that yellow look good on that 600RR. I've never seen one in person though. WTF didn't they bring back yellow over orange? I WANT TO SEE A YELLOW 08! (it still comes second to red though. )

LOL!!! I agree, I like Yellow also... Had to paint mine... For the origianl thread, I have a Pitbull, cost me $75 for the rear, it is very good quality but if ya find something cheaper, I thinkthey all pretty much do the same... I plan to get a front stand soon.

 

Nice bike! I have the exact same one; same FE kit too.

Anyhow, back on topic. I have swingarm sliders, will rear stands work with those or will I have to get spools instead? Or, do the spools mount in a different location? Sorry for the dumb questions, this is my first bike and I've never done anything other than ride it.

 

Thanks Fox! Yea, they did bring back the orange before the yellow. I'm hoping that they bring the yellow in 09, since it didn't come this year. Maybe by then I'll be ready for an upgrade. I wouldn't be ready for the 08 anyway, seeing how the bike only had 430 miles on it when I picked it up in mid-June of this year.

I'm in the process of trying to get some vinyl schemes, but up to this point I haven't play much...to be honest I was thinking about seeing what you could put together.

Oh, and uh..........since this is a thread or stands.............STANDS ROCK! YEAH!

 

I have the front and rear pit bulls, they are amazing, but ran me like 300 new. Important thing though, you pay for what you get. I like knowing that I bought the best ones, cause I need to trust the device keeping my bike a foot in the air with no wheels on it for a month.

 

Downtown....what's the good word, did you find any yet?

My rear t-rex stand is top rate.... $70 shipped. Has the adjustable spool attachment. fyi, get spools that really stick out from the swingarm so you won't scratch it.

 

No spools for f4is, i dont feel like welding either but its been fine for a month so far, the front triple tree is great i raised my forks back up
