RE: bike alarm??

I have a mogomoto tracking system on my 2007 Cbr600rr. It sends me text messages when the bike is moved or lifted off the kick stand. It also offers a full web interface that has a real time map that shows where the bike is at all times. You can also track your trips, know your speed during the trip, etc. I have motion sensors also... check it out at mymogotracker.com i'm pretty happy with it.

I would check it out too.
I have Spy alarm/remote start on my bike.Got it around $50-60 on ebay.It all depends what would do if you are 1 mile away from your bike and you get a txt message on your remote....would you be able to get to your bikebefore the thieves take it away, which would only take them like 20-30 seconds..LOL..Tracking system is the best thing..or you can pay $600 to get Lojack!!!Good luck!!

RE: bike alarm??

bottom line is an alarm is only as good as its sensors ie shock, proximity or tilt and be properly adjusted, i definately recommend the proximity sensor, no false alarms, thunder or even the occasional harley fart'n down the street wont set it off, only if someone gets near it will it respond, but scorpion makes some of the best TWO-WAY cycle alarms, just make sure sensors are quallity as well! HEY GOTOBATTER, THAT IS A COOL SETTUP YOU GOT!

RE: bike alarm??

I have the i-900 with perimeter, ignition disable and other crap they offer.
Its been great so far but turn off the proximity most of the time since I havent had time to adjust its sensitivity...soon enough.

Ignition disable is freakin awesome on that thing!!
