went to Angeles Crest Hwy to day w/ couple of my buddys .. I pass this car going over 60mph.. then lil twisty came..over shot the left turn straight head to the wall..lucky my bike slides on gravel throw me high side towards the road.. all i remember seeing sky .. ground .. sky gournd .. i must have turmble at least 3 times .. my bike end up way down the road .. my buddy came back to get me n help me start the bike up .. left mid - left lower - some front were big time damge..swing arm scrached up - left engine cover,clutch lever, kick shifter need to replace . I wanted to take some pictures but .. my head went down on the road first cuz of that got my self some big headche .. other than my ankle n some road rashes .. im okay
but i gota question about left side engine cover .. if I remove the engine cover ? will some part from inside fly out ? could i replace just the cover with drainning all the oil n stuff ?

 

man sorry to hear about that. glad you weren't hurt any worse. i'm thinking you'll have to drain the oil first before taking that cover off but i'm not 100% positive. i'm sure another member can verify or correct me if i'm wrong.
