Default Backwards Shifting

This has been posted before but I want to Elaberate on this a little more. Cause I'm really intrested in it and thinking about doing this myself. So can anyone explain to me how to do this procedure, are any parts needed for it or is it just simple switching the gear head around?

just flip the arm on the transmission 180* and you're set.

but do take some time to ride around your neighbor hood 1st . just to be sure you are used to the new style of shifting. id hate to read a thread from you saying " just did my moto gp shift and then i was riding in traffic forgot what gear i was in and went into the wrong one and crashed" not saying that would happen just becareful. it will always well should make you feel more comfy when taking those turns as it keeps your left foot up off the ground ( i hate leaning too far over and scraping your foot on the ground!)

Dude, how big are your feet!? [sm=yikesomg.gif]If you're scraping them on turns while on the street, you're doing something wrong. Most guys here can't even scrape their pegs on the track.

10 1/2 lol but not that big but i need to get the pictures of my shoe where it scraped. I was going for a shift around a huge corner around 70mph really peggin it and it just happend, almost lost control but luckily i was at the end of the turn and alls that happened was my foot fell back and my show can off, scraped the back of my calf on the peg to. I stopped grabbed my shoe and kept riding. I've hit my pegs once but i think it was cause i hit a bump to when i was in a turn or a rock.
