another blinker problem

I just bought my bike last week and the previous owner already had the flush mounts installed. When i turn on my blinker it just stays on, no blinking at all. Any suggestions?

Pull your mids off and check the wiring going to the signals. Make sure that the black wires going to the green on both sides and that the solid color is going to the red wire I think its blue on the right and orange on the left.(i think) But the wire with the white stripe is your running light that shouldnt be attached to anything...

When the blinker is on does it have a small "flicker" to it?

Yah If you look close they do kind of flicker. It also has an integrated tail, how can I check that to see if he did it right?

I have the same issue and have checked the wiring from the previous owner. Mine are wired to the solid color wires.

Solid blue on the right side and solid orange on the left side.

I have the exact same problem on mine. I read somewhere online that the flicker is them actually trying to blink but its just to fast.

I read that this will fix the problem:

I ordered one last Friday.

let me know if that works, in the mean time I'll check my wiring.

You need to install resistors on the turn signals, they are actually blinking so fast they appear solid. I picked mine up from the local radio shack, just a ceramic 'brick' resistor, though I don't remember which resistor I used. Do a quick search and there should be plenty of posts suggesting which one to go with. If you do use a 'brick' one like I did you may want to wrap it up in electrical tape because it can get very hot.
