Am I too heavy for my 2007 cbr600rr???? Please help me lol
 

Hello guys and gals I have a 2007 cbr600rr and I'm 6ft 3in and weigh 235lbs I'm wondering If I'm to heavy for this bike?? I'm also wondering if I am to heavy for my bike is there a way I could adjust the rear shock??? And untll I do, is their anyway this would effect the performance of the bike? Because when I'm on the freeway doing 68 - 80mph I realize the back end of the bike sways (left and right) and it scares the living **** out of me lol. But if there is anything I could do to adjust this shock please help me.. thank you riders I really appreciate it.. I REALLY DO!!!! LOL

The weight will be fine - they can take a fair amount of mass, and are designed with passengers in mind

The shock should be adjustable, but I don't know that particular bike so maybe check the manual or someone else might be able to help

The handling issues probably warrant a trip to a mechanic, especially if it's noticeably sketchy. It shouldn't be doing that. Maybe check to make sure a wheel adjuster hasn't come loose or something

Check your swing arm bearings for play. Grab hold of the ends and check for left to right free play. Check all rear linkage at the same time. (A mate to assist would help with viewing) Check steering head bearings for free play or notched feel. Check tyre pressures. Rear wheel for correct alignment.
Have you set the bike up for you personally. They generally come out of the factory with a stock base setting.

The stock suspension settings should handle you fine.

Check all the things mentioned above, but also the tire itself. A bad tire will make the rear do funny things.
