People will say i'm crazy...but i rode alot of highway miles last year, and i got almost 9,000 miles out of my stock Dunlop 208's. I'm running Pirelli Diablos now, doesn't look like they're gonna hold up quite as long....

RE: AGAIN TIRE QUESTION
Yeah i dunno what the deal was lol. Might have been tire pressure (i was too noob at the time to check what it was though lol). I've had the same thing happen to me with my jeep tires. I'll get 50,000 outta one set, and then 20,000 out of the next. I'm convinced that tire pressure plays a HUGE role in tire wear, and not enough people pay attention or take the time to alter their pressures for the type of riding their gonna do for that week or month. Just my 2 cents though.

no mang...you'll feel the difference...basically...you have less contact surface when you're in the turn...and you may even feel a slight slip before the tire grips again getting over the little edge that has formed between the flat part of the tire to the side of the tire.
as far as mileage in the 6-8K and plenty of stick...i'll say diablos (but i doubt you'll get 6-8K out of them) or diablo stradas. The stradas are supposed to be just as sticky as the diablos with harder middle.

ok guys check this out
http://www.motorcycle-karttires.com/
go to tire technologies...DAC
it seems like they have gone beyond just making a harder strip of rubber in the center and really optimized it
does it just seem like a bunch of hype with a marketing gimik behind it?
anyone got any idears
