After putting a new Jardine Pipe on a month ago or so.... DO I need to get the Carbs readjusted or not??? Or anything else that needs to be adjusted??? I have heard both, and dont want to burn anything out or ruin anything....

RE: After putting a New Pipe ON???
I'm still in the research phase of fuel management. I’ve read that the electronic fuel injection (EFI) compensates for a lot of changes, and I’ve read that it doesn’t. I’ve also read that just by adding a slip-on you don’t change enough that you need fuel management. The PCIII from DynoJet has good reviews on here and it cost around $300 give or take. Then you have to go to their website and download maps for it to work with your setup. They have general maps that closely match common mods. If you want an exact custom map, you’ll have to take it to a shop with a dyno and let them set it up. Good luck on finding the answer to this. For my money, once I figure out which exhaust I am going with, I will add a PCIII and have it set.

It true that your computer will compensate for a litttle change. I bought the Yoshimura RS-5 slip on and that thing lean the Air/Fuel ratio out from 14.7-1 to 16.6-1 at idle. Crusing wasn't to bad and WOT was ok. there wasn't much of a change in the ratios. I order the DynoJet PCIIIr w/ the USB port to you can down load maps, that other people have figured out and work, off the web site and upload them straight to the mangement system. I can't wait.
