Default 600rr with miss in it?

I just got a yoshi exhaust on my 06 600rr and it has a miss in it. Do I have to buy a power commader or is it something else? I'm new to bikes so i really have no idea. Thanks for the help.

Slip on or full? The ECU is somewhat self adjusting and will correct the air/fuel ratio as much as it can by itself. Usually with a slip on it shouldnt be bad. A Power Commander could help but isnt necessary for a SlipOn. If its a full, I would highly recommend getting a PCIII

No its just a slip on. Think a plug might be fouled? Thats what I'm gonna check first. If its still not fixed i'll get a power commander I guess. What plugs should I put in if they are bad?

So it was not missing before the slip on? This may sound weird but how is the battery? Know it does not seem related but an 06 with the original battery may not be putting out enough juice to keep things fired up. Could be a bad plug or coil but that would not be my first guess.

I would start by checking plugs to see which hole is missing. Then check your coil. I had an intermittant miss and it turned out to be a coil going bad. Putting a slipon exhaust system should have no effect on your ignition system.

I really noticed the miss after I got the exhaust, but before the tech would move between 2300 and 1500 at an idle. Now I can just hear it better because the exhaust is louder. I'm tearing it apart this weekend so I will let you know.

I had a bad plug. Funny thing was that it had a piece of metal that I guess grounded out the plug. Any ideas on how that tiny piece of metal got to the plug?
