2k miles on ten year old 600rr. Good or bad?

Local to me is a ten year old 600rr with 2,000 miles on it. It was garage kept with one owner. The guy said he doesn't have the time to ride it as often as he would like.

What should I look for if I inspect the bike?

I figure anything rubber like seals, tires, etc would dry out over time. Perhaps not as bad if it was garage kept.

Anyone have a similar purchase and your bike was fine?

Overall is this a good thing or bad thing?

Has the bike been sitting? Really old gas is of concern.

Tires are junk
Fluids should all be changed.

I might see the bike this week and will get to ask some questions this weekend. I belive the bike was garage kept but not sure how frequently ridden.

Also make sure it has a clean and not rebuilt title.
If rebuilt, there could be all kinds of stuff wrong.

You can check if the forks are leaking by looking for fork oil drips.
Look at the back sprocket to make sure the teeth aren't all gnarly.
See if it's still got it's manual and toolkit.
Ask to turn it on from a cold start.
See if the radiator fan kicks on after a while.
Make sure the brake rotors look straight.
I'm sure there's more too.
