2013 CBR600rr Speedometer Help
I am trying to remove my speedometer so I can send it in to get it customized, but I cannot figure out how to take it off. I have the whole upper cowl removed and I see 2 of the 3 screws that I need to remove. Does anyone know how to get to the 3rd screw?

My problem is solved
Figured out how to do it but not sure how to delete this thread.

Instead of deleting it, write up the solution that way others might be of benefit down the road.

Good idea.
Hope this helps someone in the future. 1. Remove the 2 screws on each side. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...36e05bdda5.jpg 2. Remove these screws found under each handle bar. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...3ba18062c6.jpg 3. Remove the two hidden screws found underneath the upper cowl near the forks. (one on the left side one on the right) Helps to feel for them with your finger first. (I hate Honda for these screw locations) Also need to remove the screws that are visible on each side. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...c9d8ba9919.jpg 4. Upper Cowl can now be worked with and should be able to pull off. Once it is off remove each of these screws, bolts, and nuts and the power cord connected to the speedometer. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...cd72d084c6.jpg 5. Remove the side bolts and then the whole dash should be able to come off. This is when you turn it upside down and then unscrew the last screw on the speedometer. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...8420d0184a.jpg |
Awesome write-up Thanks for this.
