Hi Everyone! I just picked up a brand new 09 CBR 600 RR last week and its time to get rid of some of the factory parts. Before I go into more detail I should say this is the first street bike that I have personally owned. I have ridden all of my friend's bikes and what not. Also, everyone that has ridden my bike loves it and thinks that it has great power and handling!
So... I need to know a way to get rid of that catalitic converter in the exhaust system. It seems as though I might have to buy a full exhaust system to wake that thing up, and let it breathe.
Next thing is the rear fender. WOW! That thing just makes the bike look horrible in the back. Who makes a good looking fender eliminator kit for that?
If there is anything else that you guys think would be an appropriate modification to do to this bike please let me know! I am dying to get this thing out of its bone stock condition and make this thing look like the great bike that it is!

hi, i got the green 600, i found a kick *** easy install fender kit on ebay.. rr cycles had it for 100 bucks. bright too.ebay has a hot carbon fiber rear hugger i grabbed too. looks sweet. but im still not sure about frame sliders for 09.. someone said the 08 ones should work. nice bike too.

 

check out the fender eliminator at cbrheaven.com tripageled.com iwinmoto.com all 3 offer a tail light that actually goes into the tail. fork, frame, and swingarm sliders would be a good bet. levers, grips and white rim tape would look sick on that bike.
