2008 CBR600RR Front End Rebuild
So I found a pretty nice steal on an 08' 600RR. 10k miles, $3,500. It does have some issues though. Looks like the front end needs a total rebuild, shocks are gone, air-cleaner is cracked, right fairings are definitely gone, and front rim is totally bent. The engine is in mint condition, sliders saved it from what I saw. How much am I looking at to fix her up?

Funny thing is I was looking on 600RR.net and saw this thread and was like wait I saw this somewhere else haha. The cost is really going to depend on what parts you can get on ebay and what parts your going to by OEM. It will also change on if you're doing the work yourself to taking to a shop so it's going to be hard to give you an accurate figure. I would get on Ebay and craigslist ASAP. Good luck with the rebuild.

There are a lot of things that can drive up the price. You really won't know until you get in there and remove all the damaged components. I would also advise replacing the triple clamp. I would also inspect the frame for cracks, metal stretching, and metal compressing. Bad frame makes the bike almost worthless.
