So I have a near bone stock 08', (save for lights, screeen, f. eliminator, and sliders), and am trying to figure out whether to just add a slip-on [2 Bros.], combined with a PWIII [custom mapping issues aside], or just go all out and get a full exhaust system sans the PCII. Any input from those who have done any combination of the above would be appreciated [umm...well, perhaps not by my girl, but hey...].

 

From what I've read, if you go with a slip on you can generally get away with not having a PCIII, but if you get the full system, it's highly recommended that you get the Power Commander with the map.

I see the logic, being that a full system will require a reflash to deal with the higher fuel delivery/comsumption potential. For now, I think I'll just run a slip-on (Two Bros.) and see how that goes, and focus on the far more important issue, which is time in the saddle rather than time tinkering in the garage.
