You guys are all wrong....there is a slipper clutch...but it just doesn't work...it just won't slip cause it's made so well...
and why would you buy a 07 if you have a 06?????????? especially if you do not like the looks of the tail...cause it's all about the race looks and how a race bike would suit me on the street...i may be stuck in traffic, but i look darn good and fast! i personally never hit the track and i barely ride...in fact my bike is on the battery tender like 363 days out of the year...so that's a total of about 48 hours i ride...and only to starbucks...but i just like to get my bike all raced prepped and look like a race bike when i ride to starbucks across the street for my caramel machiatto....
yea i'm a poser...but i look damn good!

Look, 90% of you whack jobs will never need a slipper. it's just something else on the bike that you can say came from racing technology... just like the RR at the end of the name.
[/quote]
On the contrary, 90% of us will benefit from the slipper. The 10% who handle their throttle like it should be done and can slip non-slip clutch do not need one, for the rest of us it`s decreasing crash risk and second or two better lap times. For the road I do agree it may have less importance but still why not put it standard, the cost of slipper vs non-slipper can`t be that great...
I personally couldn`t care less what came from where, I`m only interested in technology if it can make me ride faster i.e. hide the lack of talent and *****, simple as that

slipper clutches won't make you faster...riding experience will...don't rely on technology to mask your inadequacies, like so many people do with tires and blame everything on tires...heck...i've used 207s, 208s, etc...and they all gripped well...though i don't like 207s...was just scary but all mental...
work on making yourself faster...and your skill and don't mask it...or else, when someone with a beat up F4i...or an F2 comes and pass you at the track...in a brand new whatever...1k, 2k, 3k quadruple R...you'll feel AND look like $#!T...
i personally think all the new bikes are HOT! except the zx14R...WTF? who the heck is riding in the deepest darkest part of the jungle? with all them lights...
