umm.. can you say fouling out your plugs or something of that nature.. did you get a power commander and a map for that exaust? FI systems are like rich women.. they are picky, and if they get pissed they stop working (screwing you)

 

ALRIGHT!!!! I am super-pissed. Tacoma25 had it right......BAD GAS from SHELL, tons of water in it..Had to take the damn thing apart, take off the tank etc.....replace the plugs (not cheap). Took a ton of cranking and trying to push that water out. Contacted Shell to file a claim..they were friendly and we will see what happens. Thanks everyone for thier input. Beware of the Shell GAS...going around in Georgia!!!

Hey man, glad to help. You are lucky the gas line did not freeze and ruin some other things like the vehicle I worked on. They can be a real turkey to get started after they have had water ran through them.

 

glad to see you got a result, i buy shell all the time, only fuel i put in my car bike and diesel car.... yikes !!!

on a related note, my buddy has an 03 600RR and ran it before he pulled the battery, it WHAT A BITTCH to get that thing running again..... he calls me at home.... "my bike wont start man" , eventually got it going but wow what a chore....

Take home message, dont run out of fuel, your battery will die before you get it running again....
