2004 600rr rear seat latch and lock replacement
 

Hi all! I am rebuilding a 2004 600rr. It had been torn down and used to race. Trying to add the rear seat latch and key lock back in. For the life of me I can't figure out how the latch cable runs to the key lock and how the key lock mounts to the frame. Can someone please post a bunch of pics of theirs for me?

Thanks! I've stared at that drawing and bought all the parts but can't figure out how the cable tracks to the lock from the latch.

This is the best thread I became able to publish in for a few reason. When I bought my bike I became informed that the rear seat lock became missing. My mechanic informed me I might be capable of replace it and he may want to make it paintings with my key, but I just ordered a intergrated taillight from TST that requires the removal of the rear seat and fairing for install. The seat is locked in location. Is there a manner to dispose of the seat in this case. Again its 2008 model with manufacturing unit rear seat. Thanks!

On my CBR 600 RR 2005 it's in the middle, right where your manual showed it. Don't know why your's is on the side.
