Haha Tahoe, great post. My first bike was an 04 600RR which I currently still ride. I thought it would be nothing after ridden dirt bikes my whole life but boy was I wrong. I've gotten lucky a couple times and can't believe I didn't lay the bike down. But I learned to ride it. And take it from me, respect your bike. About two months ago my riding partner went into the side of a Tahoe that turned in front of him and me. Luckily I was behind him. But not so lucky for him. He lost a kidney and part of his liver, had a collapsed lung, broken collar bone, broken jaw, and broken cheek. He spent 4 weeks in ICU and is out now with his jaw wired shut. He did nothing wrong but just a testament to being careful on your bike, espcially new riders. RESPECT the privelage that we have to ride, and ride safe. It really makes a difference when you're right behind your partner when everything goes wrong.

My first bike was a 1982 Yamaha SR250. I was around 10 years old when I rode it for the first time in 1985. That bike looked pretty bad when I finally sold it around 1992. I now have a 2005 CBR 600RR and love it. From someone who learned to ride on a smaller bike I could not imagine getting on a CBR 600 not having ever rode a bike before. I have been riding for 21 years and still scare myself sometimes. Just be careful and be safe. Just like in the previous post I have been a witness to a fellow rider who paid the price for someone elses carelessness.

Kawi street and trail 50... no idea what year it was. Mid 70s. I'd love one for my basement.

The F4i as a first bike... I think it's a bad idea, but it's alot better than a 1000rr. Sometimes it's better to argue for the F4i when they might listen, than argue for the 250/500 ninjas when they won't listen.

ORIGINAL: Tahoe SC

hayabusa...then i crapped in my pants...and wifey said...oxy clean can't get this $#!T out...so either get more thongs or get rid of the bike....so i loaded up on thongs...then wifey said...it's costing you $10 for 3 pack everytime you hop on the bike, which was like 5 days of the week, so after $2000 in thongs...she made me get rid of it.

Thanks for your honesty.
