-1+2 costs money
Man I finaly figured out my trip meter problem and I wish I hadn't. With the stock gearing I was getting bout 140 miles to the tank and now that I have the trip meter fixed I filled up and rode the other yesterday and I'm getting 98 miles to the tank f**k that's a big difference. Might as well go back to drivin a cage..LOL not only this but since the gearing is lower I am not realy getting 98 miles because I the speedo is off the trip meter has to be off as well anyone measure thiers maybe I just been using sh*ty gas. or anyone just wanna bitch about the price of gas. 2.49. here. Not that I will change my gears or my riding habits just though that was a big loss in distance. Dallas trip is gonna kill me though if my estimations are correct it will be round 30 gal at 2.50 per gal thats like what 90 dollars "DAM THE MAN"

That's because that gearing is pretty much track oriented, not street...it gives quicker acceleration, keeps you near the power band, but reduces top speed which is perfect for tracks with a lot of turns and short straights...so to use that gearing combination then complain about gas mileage is pretty silly...I would never use that gearing for a street only bike, but that's just me...

"I did it all for the Noogy"
come on mellow.........that gearing isn't gonna get you any more noogy!!
this is why I so preach about just going -2 in the front....if gonna take a long ride just swap out with stock (15 min mod max)
I have stock, -1, and -2 (plus was only $44 for both of them)!!
but then again I only road ride

Yes I know it dosn't get me more noogy but dam the acceleration is great particularly when 2 up. Besides I ride around a small town stop go stop go stop go. never any real riding until the other day. I have ordered a 17t front to replace the 15 when I go on my long rides any one know if this is bad or good, reason I went 17 is I wont be able to take the rear stand so chaning the rear is gonna be hard. and I love the power and wheelies this gearing gives me so I don't want to just leave the rear stock btw anyone know how close the 17 front and 45 rear will be to stock I think it will be a tiny bit higher gearing than the stock but not sure
