Question 09 plasics on 05?

Ok ok this is a CRAZY idea... The frames change some almost every year on most bikes. Is there any way 09 plastics will mount on a 05 frame?? I am thinking since the plastics ARE different the frame will have some differences... I doubt anyone has tried this, but mabye someone out there has put these bikes together at a dealer or something. Just asking because I was looking and wasn't sure if the Phoenix edition decals would work on 05 plastics, would look different and wouldn't be at the same angles. Call me crazy but I would love to make this work out and come out at only paying for the plastics. And decals/paint.

nope but that sounds dope dude, you should buy sum race plastics cuz they're cheaper and then try to mod them to fit that way your not in the hole if you mess up.

ebay it up and buy a set of hongkong plastics, the paint is actually good and if u take the time to file the holes and mounts down so it all fits tight together it'll look dope, just dont slap em on an leave it crappy lookin like most people i see come into my shop lol, we did a hanspree replica 1000rr and it looked bada$$ when it was done.

The lights and air intake are so different I don't think it would work. I also think they have very different mounting points.

But with the right ingenuity and cash on hand, anything is possible. Wasn't there a guy who made an 89 Hurricane into an F3 or 600RR?
