I am have looked at most of the fender eliminator kids available for the 08 CBR600RR and am not impressed. The kits either leave a good chunk of the rear brake light assembly or completely remove it and the trim that hides the exhaust. I am wondering if the tail light assembly from an 06 will work on the 08 without to much modification. The brake turn signals could then be located above the exhaust which makes the bike look much cleaner. I hope that someone might have some additional information. THanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

There are plenty of options. If you use the "search" function of the forum, you'll be able to find plenty of stuff about fender eliminators and the 07 (which is the same as the 08). You CAN put the light from an 06 and before into an 07 tail, but it requires modification, and I'm pretty sure there's a thread on here about it. Feel free to do a search and see what you come up with! (Welcome to the site!)

This is another that I've been looking at, no modification required, but the one above provides better visiblity I'd imagine.

he makes a much better FE kit then what was shown. You will need to modify your bike. however... this light is custom made and is brighter then the previous in tail kit made

I still think the best kit available is the Rizoma kit. (though, you do have to trim the tag bracket though to fit the US plates.) It's originally designed for those tall, european plates.

 

i had the R&G kit on mine when it was a street bike
i liked it.

now that the bikes is a track bike its for sale btw
