07rr vs 03 kawa zxr636 (both stock)
all i know is motor cyclist had an article last month about the new R6 vs the new 600RR and the 600RR beat it on the track by less than .08 of a second.
so i doubt the 636 is going to hang .... but what do i know.

In Drag Racing... the '07 RR will beat the '03 636 but not the '06 636.
If the track has a lot of curves I'd say the RR will definately takethe '03 and most likely the '06 636. The '06 636 is a nice bike. My riding buddy now has 2 of them and we test each other all the time on straights, drag racing in the 1/8, and in the corners. He is a more experienced rider and his bikes are wearing Pilot Powers and CT2 [:@]

Whats the 07RR run mph over the 1/8th mile as a matter of interest?
I know of a 03 636 with a slip on Akra Can & untuned PCIII running 7.04@106.8mph.
That's not bad for an "old" bike.

With an ok rider on a stock '07 RR the best I've seen is 7.34 @ 104.3mph. Thats an impressive run for the 636 (I assume experienced drag rider?). What was the 60' time?
The best i've seen outta the '06 636 is a 6.91 @ 106mph with a 1.74 60' (Bike had straps, akrapovic, and untunned PC3)

Where did those numbers come from?
I could believe that if I saw it myself in person, but having ridden both I doubt it....

I can't find the numbers for the 07 600RR yet, but it's faster, lighter and more agile (according to every mag review I've read) than even the 05 600RR, so with that being said, I'm willing to bet the 07 RR would wipe its *** with the 03 Kawi round a track. But again, it all comes down to the rider.

Lemmie tell you this, i have a 2004 with 06 front, full akro, power commander ignition commander volicity stacks, bmc filter, -1/+2 520... my buddy on his 07 stock, and i could not close the distance between us on the straight away when i went to the track this past monday. i thought to myself i was going to get right on his *** by the end of the straight away, but to no avail, he was very slowly pulling away from me.
