Has anyone heard anything about the 07 sportbikes, when there comming out is the RR going to be different etc?

do a search, you'll find LOTS of useless, unsubstantiated, baseless, and mostly false rumors about the 07 CBRs. The trouth is Honda is Hush Hush, and you won't see, hear, or smell anything until the announcement day. anyone who claims they know something, is 100% full of ****.

 

+1. i talked to a buddy at the honda shop. NO ONE will know jack sh*t till at least mid sept. honda is having a conference then and inviting dealers... where they will announce what's up.

Seriously I have seen this post over and over. Just sit back and relax. They will be here soon enough. And then you can go drool over them in the show room. As far as mid sept I have heard the same thing from my local dealership. When they come out thats when I want to pick up my 06 600rr. I still may be tempted to by the 07 but well see.

yes, I know everything about the new 07 RR.. it's been fitted with a 6.0L V8, a sail, 6 wheels a snowplough for pesky pedestrians...

it truly will change the face of motorcycling

two or three more of them, and then i'm gonna bust out my insider information on the bike. i have however confirmed that my cousin's wife's brother's friend road on one and he tells me it has a retractable spoiler that pops out at any speeds greater then 50 mph. Ofcourse it only does this on tuesday, wednesday and saturdays during the dusks hours of 7:30- to 8:30. It may however be necessary to adjust the tensioner shaft though to account for day light savings time. An electronicaly controlled adjuster should be available aftermarket in the upcoming months.

 

I actually did meet one of Honda's test riders about a month back but all he would say is that its gonna be the most amazing 600 to ever hit the market
Honda definitely keeps a tight lid on these things though and trust me nobody is gonna get any real info until Honda wants people to know

 

I've heard that Honda use Monkeys that were sent into space to pilot test bikes round Tochigi.

Because these bikes are capable of over 10,000mph, monkeys that have only experienced G-Forces of up to 40 are allowed to pilot the bikes. That, and paying them in bananas is far cheaper than currency.

That's why there is a retractable daylight saving spoiler - the bananas are stored there so the monkeys can get there nyum nyums when need be. At 50mph.
