Default 07 600rr suspension question

First off thanks for looking, hopefully this in the right place...

I have hade my 600 for 2 years now and have never had the front or rear suspension set for my weight. I am 6'3" and weigh 240lbs. A friend has been caring for my bike in his garage during the winter and noticed that my bike has a lot of give in the suspension. He rides an 08 Kawi and his suspension is a lot stiffer than mine. So I went to my local Honda dealership today and asked about have my suspension dialed in for my weight. Well their lead tech ( at least I think he was the lead from the many years he had on him ) said that he could not adjust the rear and I needed to buy an aftermarked rear suspension and for the front I would only minimun gain from adjusting it. I am wondering if this is true or are they trying to run me through the ringer?

Any advise would be great
Thanks

The stock springs are too soft but unless you are riding track days or going all out in the twisties it's a lot of money to replace everything. If you get the stocker adjusted all you can do is crank up preload.
