How do you guys like the '07 - '08 600RR on the track?
I'm asking because my current street / track ride is an '03 954 RR. It rips like hell, but is almost a little too violent out on the track (wheelies, head shake, etc). It also has a more street inspired seating position, which is comfortable, but not ideal for me out on the track.
I'm thinking of picking up an '08 600 RR that will be used 90% of the time on the track. I'm 6'0", 185 lbs, and looking for something that is a little more race inspired, but not such a handful out there.
Thanks for any / all input!

It's a fantastic bike. It'll likely be underpowered vs the 954 but the handling and braking will be mush superior. There isn't much head shake because it comes stock with a steering dampener. You might wanna check out www.600rr.net. It's a much better and more frequented site for the RR.

Here's a thread you might want to read. It asks the same question.
