I am looking for an undertail for my bike that looks like this

but it needs to fit an 03...

I like the look of the one i posted. I like the look of the undertail fully completed. not just a bracket. any other ideas?

 

Just send the seller a question and see if it will fit an 03. I don't believe there is any difference in the rear of the 03/04 - 05/06 models. Most of the difference is in the front of the bike. Just make sure when you ask the question that they will accept a return if it does not fit.

 

thats not a bad idea. anyone know if theres any difference in the 03-04 and the 05-06 undertail?

 

I got pretty frustrated about that a couple of years ago. I actually called Hotbodies and asked if that same undertail in your post would fit my 04 RR and they quickly said no. I don't see myself where there's a whole lot of difference in the 03-04 and the 05-06 but that's to the naked eye. I wanted one of these undertails bad because I think it just looks so much cleaner, but they shot me down. I absolutely hate the fact that I can't find something like that to fit my bike. It immediately made me wish I had an 05-06 just so I could have a freakin' undertail but no luck. Maybe the guy on the phone that day was having a bad day, I don't know, but he was like no....and hung up...no suggestions...no offers...etc. I wanted to punch him through the phone but oh well.

Anyway, if you do find something or find that the 05-06 may work, please let me know! It would make my day and I would buy one immediately!

 

Okay guys, I actually just called Pimpbike, and although they don't post the undertail for 03-04 RR's online, they do have one in their ebay store, so I was excited and ordered one...lol. The picture they have of one is on a 600rr that has been extended with a big tire kit on it but you can get the idea....it looks pretty cool IMO. Here is the item number if anyone might be interested.....150242768852. Glad I saw this post and called pimpbike....Dan with pimpbike was great if you have any questions, this is the second undertail I bought from them...other one was for my F4i.

When you get it, post up some pictures and let me know how it fits. If it all works out i'll end up purchasing one for myself aswell.

 

In case anyone is interested... I went ahead and purchased an undertail from pimpbike.com and it worked out great. The undertail fit great and it really tightened up the back end.



Now I just need to get it painted
