03 600rr subframe seems to be off
I just bought my first 03 600rr with 9500 miles and I got a great deal on it. I test drove it and it drives perfectly straight (even with no hands). I was looking at the bike in my garage a few days after I bought it and the subframe and exhaust is not straight on with the rear tire. I took all the plastics off to see if the frame had a bend in it somewhere and it looked perfectly fine. Could tightening the straps too tight when trailering the bike have bent the subframe slightly. I am almost positive the bike was straight when I bought it. Can someone please help me. I am worried that this could be something really serious and that I may have gotten ripped off.

Does the bike have a salvage title?
Get yourself a repair manual, or take it to a dealership to get inspected if you're woried something is seriously wrong with it. (You should have had someone knowledgeable look at it before dropping the cash)
I doubt there is something seriously wrong with the bike though. Make sure the plastics were not a little loose on the tail, and that they are truly misaligned
it might be the angle you were looking at it from.

Yea, the 03/04 subframe has a tendencey to twist just a little if you hook straps up to it and tighten them down unevenly... don't even worry about it, just ride the bike. But if you really want to get the twist out, loosen (don't remove them) all the bolts that join the two halfs of the subframe together and mount the subframe to the frame. Then tighten them down starting from the frame back and checking along the way.
