Default 03 600rr good buy or not?

I just bought a 03 600rr. It has 9650 miles on it and has been re-painted at one time. It's in excellent condition with a very small scratch on the clutch cover. But everything is stock. I paid $2800 for it. Did I get a good deal or not?
Thanks

Yes!!! You got a exceptional good deal. As a owner of a 03' Honda CBR 600rr with 17000 miles on mine and scratches on the right side of my engine cover. I still would have not sold mine for less than $5000. But I also have about 2200 dollars in aftermarket accessories and parts. The only thing I ever warn anybody about buying pre-owned motorcycles is ALWAYS ALWAYS check the fork seals to make sure they are not leaking because that is a nice 600-1000 repair job before even riding and about 3-6 hours labor.

Thanks for the comments. I've put about 400 miles on the bike so far and everthing seems to be great. The guy I got it from was moving and needed the money so I guess I got lucky.

Two Brothers. But they all sound different, and everyone has their own preferences. Before you lay down the cash, try and find out what each brand sounds like and make your choice based upon that. (Go to your local bike shop and check their stuff out, if they have used bikes with aftermarket exhaust systems on them, ask them to start them up)
