I am selling my bike because my car died. However, I might keep my bike, just because it is sooooo hard to let it go. My fairings are in good condition and I have a buddy that wants to buy them off me. I was wondering, If i bought 05-06 fairings (In Silver or Black), are they a direct bolt on to my 04 600RR ????

I did do a search and couldn't find any useful info.

If they aren't a direct bolt on, what needs to be changed/modified for them to work ?

Need info on tail/mids/lowers/ and front !!!

nobody knows if the fairings are interchangeable ?

 

i've heard they're not

 

should be the same except for the tail i believe.

 

im not sure about the front fairing b/c it has different ram air scoops but i know for a fact the tail section is not the same, i found it out the hard way. bought an 05 tail fairing off e-bay and it did not fit my 04 RR. hope this helps a little.

 

You can change the nose, but you need the ramair ductwork from the nose to the airbox. 3 pieces per side. The upper stay is different, and I've heard that the headlights may be different.

The tail will not work, unless you get an 05 subframe, and exhaust.
