Default Whats your favorite front tire?

Time for a new front tire, I have a Michellen Pilot Power 120/70ZR-17 in my cart at the Motorcycle superstore, any other recommendations, opinions?

The rear Shinko Raven is pretty much brand new but I will probably match to the front when it comes time for a rear replacement.

Chicken_Strips, how have you liked your Shinko Ravens? That's what's on the bike I just got, but the rear is totally worn out so I need something new. Are you looking for something different because you were displeased with the Shinkos, or just looking for something different?

The Shinko is fine, seems to hold up well.. it'll skirm a little when it's cold under hard braking or quick decel- down shifts. I still haven't bought a new front tire.. winter is here and all my time and effort is going towards my trials bike :P

i was offered Shinkos from my local bike store, but i was kinda iffy about it since this is my first bike. i hear they are alright for just for commute, but not so good for sharp turns harsh weather since it is a hard compound tire.

I just ordered my self a new front tire also, i got the PP2ct. Heard they where a good all around tire from my biker friends

Thanks for the feedback, CS. I don't know how many people know that Shinko is a Korean company that bought the Yokohama motorcycle tire line (tech, production, and all). So, I kinda had some confidence with their capabilities based on that, but I'm glad to have some real-world feedback. To me, my Ravens are fine, but I'm a street-bike beginner.
