Default What to Look For...

I am going to look at a 2000 CBR 600 F4 this weekend. The bike has about 11k miles, Yoshi slip-on exhaust, otherwise stock. The bike has been down at least once and the owner says it is just cosmetic and scuffed the paint and clutch cover. Also, she says the previous owner rode the bike with a cupped front tire that caused the front springs and fork seals to have to be replaced. Anyway, what things should I look for on this bike? What things are issues for these bikes? Also, what would you say is a fair price range?

Thanks,

Mike

I would say check the oil and chain because these things can tell you how well the bike was taken care of. If the oil is really dirty and chain rusty, chances are not much attention was given to the bike and the chances are higher for the bike to not last as long...
