Turned the bike into the shop today to get dyno'ed, they opted to tune the bike for 91 octane fuel after doing a couple of passes with the 87. Should have the numbers tomorrow and I will see if I can be there when they do the final pass.

Had to replace the rear rotor to pass inspection. I was in kind of a rush (temp tags expired a few days ago) so I didn't get to be as thorough in cleaning as I would have liked.

This is pretty routine stuff for most of you, but I've had this bike not even 2 months, so I still enjoy the little things

Glad to hear you are enjoying the bike! And routine Maintenance is perfect to post up here, thats what this thread is for! Glad to see you are using gloves while handling the rotors, I've told my friends of when they almost picked up my new set before I put them on.

Haha, I didn't even know it was a bad idea to handle them without gloves.

I was just in a rush so I pulled into my friends garage, got off the bike and got to work. Might sound funny, but I didn't even think to take off my riding gloves... I guess I'm just lucky? or lazy. both?

I'm guessing you don't want any oils or anything on them? More likely to warp? Just curious what the reasoning is.

Removed my micron end can, stripped it down and re-welded some of the failed welds, refitted and took her for a spin!

Bike is garaged till spring now so a good time to do...

Oil and filter change,
Air filter change,
Front rotors and pads replacement and calliper clean
A damn good clean overall
And then ready for riding season 2014!

Well I have finally got round to getting the bike back on the road!

Fitted new front rotors and in the process of cleaning the callipers... pistons wouldnt back in all the way so took me a bit longer than I would have liked!

Will fit new pads in the morn, change the oil and filter and then start cleaning her up

Battery is off and charging over night so hopefully she'll start.
