Default weird temperature readings

My cbr reacts differently temperature wise on certain days. I've had 75 degree days where my bike would run at one quarter all day. I've had days where it was 60 and it ran at 3/4 at a stop light. It pushes out a lot of warm air after about 10 minutes of riding, but it never overheats. Never goes past 3/4. Sometimes my fan will kick on after 5 minutes of riding. But I've ridden for an hour straight at 70 mph on a 75 degree day at 1/2. Had fresh oil and coolant. What could be the issue?

you could try replacing the thermostat, it could be doing funny things.

Thats what I was thinking. I kinda wanna do it myself cuz of the pricey labor charges, but don't exactly know how to get to it. And it being a Japanese bike, will a Japanese thermostat match it? Like for a civic, or eclipse even?

get on that is meant for it. they're not that much money. maybe replace the radiator cap too, or pressure check it anyway.

I don't think you have an "issue".
