Trim Clips?
 

Hi all, I want to replace the 2 plastic thngs (Trim Clips) that hold the 2 front side fairings together on the underside of the bike. In the manual it says they are Trim Clips, but the ones that came off look different. Can anyone please advise. Included Pics from manual and the actual plactic things that were already on it - Thx

After 20 years, I'm sure that they've been changed a time or two. If you want to go with original, then pick up a few at your local dealer. Otherwise, your local hardware store might have some plastic clips that are the same diameter and length that will work just fine.

You can use any kind that fit.

The first time I pulled mine, they snapped and crumbled. I have a large bag of 'em for my cars and just had to "embiggen" the holes a bit with a drill. Cheaper than paying the dealer and they come out much easier because I can get a decent trim puller under the heads...

Thanks Guys - Just ordered some 6mm Push Clips for afew quid - Should fit ok as hole looks to be be out 6mm. Cheers
