Oulton park Track on Wednesday. Originally went into Intermediates, then didn't feel confident because:

a). I'd not ridden properly since September 2015
b). Full of BSB riders getting their eye in and full on proper racers...

Anyway, decided to play safe and go back in novice... and had a ball and one of the sessions only 4 of us on the track... usually around 7 people, it was epic in 19C sun... SUPERB!

4 people on the track for a session?! that sounds phenomenal!
the 2nd day at putnam last year we had one guy on a Busa that averaged ~40mph around the track, had so much traffic behind him that it took almost a lap to get passed him, and only took about half a lap to catch back up to him.

 

Did that Busa have a fat tire and extended swingarm?

 

nope, looked completely stock. the guy wouldnt even change his body position.
Supposedly he was afraid to damage his ride...But the last two sessions of the day a coach let him ride one of his bikes...and he still putt putted around the track.

 

oh, and i decided to turn her into a dedicated track bike..

 

So no more roads for you then... looking good, did you spray colour then?

 

Haven't painted it yet. What's on it is just a primer. But I think I'm gonna go with the burnt orange with matte black

 

Kwaka Pearl Orange... that would look epic!
