Default Stalling when Hot Issues Continue!

Well guys, I though I had my issue narrowed down, but it started back up today. I runs great for about 20 minutes, then when stopped at a stop light it starts stuttering bad unless I keep revving it up. I have my idle set at 1500, and still having the issue. I haven't had a chance to check my voltage when it's doing this - might carry my volt meter with me the next couple days so I can see. I do seem to have the problem less when I put my battery on the charger at night though. So even after the new R/R I still have the problems. I'm still going to be upgrading my power wires and richening up my pilot screws ( mine are only 2.5 turns out right now). I'll keep you guys updated.

I belive it is the fuel pump. I had a 91 chevy cav that did the same thing.

Well, I'm kinda leaning that way too, but there is a solenoid thingy that's wired inbetween the ecm and the fuel pump - I can't for the life of me figure out what it was. Last time my bike was acting really really bad it was that solenoid. I'm wondering if it's getting hot and dropping the voltage too low for the fuel pump. Last time I replace mine it wasn't giving the fuel pump over 9volts. I'm gonna check mine again and see. I wish I knew what it was for, cause it'd almost like to just bypass it and see if I get the issue.

I still think it's voltage/heat related cause it only does it once my bike is running on the hotter side and I've been riding for a while and usually worse when the cooling fan is on. This morning when it was doing it, it wasn't even 80 deg outside.

hmm... if you carry a DVOM to check it when it happens.. just keep a second key so that you can pop the seat off without turning it off..

I am having this happen after long rides and getting stuck in the heat and stop and go traffic.. never stalls.. but I can feel it sputter on take off... I plan on buying the OEM honda R/R (upgraded) but havent had the chance to order it yet.. this week I will though.

I'm going to see if I can have my gf bring me mine tonight so I can check it. I was able to tell a huge difference with my new R/R - runs a lot better, just gotta figure out the other problem of why it's trying to stall.

wow... that blows...

FWIW.. I replaced my fuel pump last year.. was an easy job actually... but the symptoms I had were different.. the bike would just die suddenly... then after a bit of trying it would start up and be fine for up to 500 miles.. then it would die again... I changed the pump and filter while I was in there...
