still bogs and misses

I was thinking it was the regulator so i bot a new one but nope=( When i run anything that uses more electricity it misses and bogs down. Brights, blinkers, brake lights, so cant be a short cuz then it would be alot of shorts. When i used a meter, it is putting out enough electricity. Is there a relay switch it could be, or could it be a cheap battery? I think i read somewhere that bikes use power off battery where as cars use it off alternator. I don't think it would be stator since it runs fine mostly and battery hasnt died.

Just a suggestion but have you checked your ground?
My last F4had a grounding issueand it was doing just that :)

Hmmmmm, i will do that thanx for the info. You're the first one that mentioned that. Is there alot of places to check ground? I mean, it isn't just checking the negative on the battery terminal right? I will search here and see too.

There is a ground for the neg battery terminal, but there is also another ground that is common to most of the electrical. This could be loose and causing the problem, but i don't know exactly where it is.

This is the wiring diagram. http://www.bossturbo.com/cbr/reference_wiring.shtml

But if someone knows exactly where i can check, that would be awesome.

RE: still bogs and misses

So I lifted up the gas tank and searched for a ground. I found a place where there was a ground to the aluminum frame and then played with it a little. Seems like it got better. When i put the brake light on it does it sometimes not always and blinkers same thing. The brights don't cause it to hesitate anymore, but it still isn't perfect. I wonder if there is more grounds or if I need to run a ground wire directly to the neg battery terminal. I will try that tomorrow to see. I want to totally eliminate any hesitation. You would think the stock setup is good enough.

Problem solved

Thanx to Irahsym for his suggestion. I ran a black wire from the negative battery terminal to where the wiring harness grounds against the aluminum frame. This ground is located directly under the right side of the gas take, so you need to pull the tank up. You do not need to remove the tank entirely. As soon as i did this when i hit the blinkers there was no hesitation whatsoever. Even if you think your bike isn't totally stalling just listen if there is a slight hesitation when you put your blinkers on. You might not realize the ground is not too great. I wouldn't be supprised if my ignition system was being robbed all the time, but just not enough to totally kill it. I am so happy now, but if anyone needs a brand new reg/rec let me know since I don't need mine
