I am looking into getting a used Scotts steering damper for my 2000 F4 but am having trouble finding one with a mount made for an F4. I was wondering if anyone knew whether the 600rr mounts would work as well. Let me know if you know if any other mounts are compatible.

 

I was in your shoes a few years back and determined it was best to stick to F4 specific mount/damper. Cheaper in the long run.

I ended up an ohlins.

 

Scotts specifically says that the F4/f4i mount is not for the CBR600RR. Works on 1999-2007s.

You can always get a damper, then get the mount separate from Scotts. Might save a little.

I have been fiddling with the steering damper my self, and know for a fact that the 600rr will not fit with out some modifying.
