Put ~160 spirited miles in this weekend and one long, stuck in traffic ride back from work yesterday. I have to say I really might have fixed the issue. After the top off I really don't notice the drop, if any, in idle when the fan kicks on. Everything seems more responsive and I have not had an issue with stalls at roll-off. I think replacing the RR and making sure the battery was topped off all rolled into the fix.
I added a separate ground to the radiator which seems to have helped but my problem persists. When I get home tonight I'm going to run a dedicated switched line to power the fan. I suspect the fan switch is failing and not provided a complete ground.
