The stamped number on my factory exhaust is:
HM MBW A1

I have a 2006 F4i 49 state model (not California)

Sorry for the delay, mine is stamped HM MBW E1. It's a UK 1999 F4/FX. This is the last carb fed model so there is no sensor hole in the exhaust.

I understand that the HM MBW E1 is for the '99-'00 carbureted model while the HM MBW E2 is for the '01-'02 fuel injected model and has a longer midpipe.
Does anyone know if the YUTAKA 2334 model stamped on both mufflers means that they are exactly the same silencer units (midpipe difference aside)?
I understand YUTAKA is a subcontractor for Honda parts.
You see, I got my hands on a mint E1 unit and want to fit it to my '01 F4i after some welding.

Any info appreciated!
