Hi,
Has anybody ever changed their speedo bulbs? Mine has a few that are no longer working I was wondering if anyone knows what sort of bulbs they are and if it is relatively easy to do many thanks

Hi 500tie

I am new on here too and from London UK.
and i read your welcome and see you have a yellow and black bike too

According to the User Manual there a 3 x 12v 1.1 watt bulbs in the instrument
cluster and i expect most 12v bikes will use the same type.

await further advice on here from the more experienced

Regards
Tim

Thanks Tim. Think I'm just going to take the unit apart and head down to the local motor factors to get some replacements. Really need to get myself a Haynes manual

You should have a look at the used Haynes manuals on Amazon. You can pick one up for about a tenner.

Hi Graham,

I quite easily found the full workshop manual on line which has already come in handy for changing the Anti freeze this past weekend.

Maybe I will get a Haynes for me Birthday!

For lighting up the clocks - just three.

Then there is 1 bulb for each warning light on the clocks.

EDIT - just found these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-DASH...item3ccef5b27c

Work out at £1.25 each with postage when you buy them in 10's
