I rode the bike this evening to my grandmas, coming back a dude in a small pickup pulled across the road to the median about a 1/4 mile ahead of me. He was waiting in the medianto merge, I wasapproachingthat intersection when I realized he had a extension laddersticking out of the back of the truck into my lane [:@]. I ducked as hard as i could. The douche didnt have a flag or anything on it. I cleared it, by how much I dont know. I didnt realize how bad it shook me up till the next light I went to stop and my knees tried to shake right out from under the bike.....life goes on i guess.

 

Wait till a dip**** woman on a cell phone pulls out in front of you in her SUV and stops completely in the middle of the street blocking BOTH lanes. Don't ask me how I know.

 

...or some idiot in a Camry creeps further into the road, from a sidestreet, as you near...only to block the road sideways and cause you to fall- avoiding t-boning that crapp

happened less than a month ago [:'(]

 

or some idiot decides to stop and go backwards on the entrance to the expressway, and it was in the turn where you cant see whats ahead...I still dont know how I avoided that...had so many close calls its all part of riding, have to deal with diiots on the road.

 

Animals are scary too. Deer are very bad... especially at night. Made me give up riding at night around my area.

 

I, too, have been in this same situation. Not a good feeling.
