Default runs very hot

I just bought a 2000 f4 and it was running all the way up to the red line on the temp guage. I checked and noticed that the fan wasnt working. I grounded it out so it runs all the time but i still am running about a centimeter from the red overheat line. I have the proper amount of oil, no blown head gaskets or exhaust leaks. Plenty or rad. fluid in my overflow. I cannot seem to figure it out. Any help is appreciated

is it running hot even when moving? If the fan is running all the time and you have plenty of fluid maybe the radiator is clogged and not allowing the fluid through?

Dude, I would assume your coolant isn't working. I would totally drain your coolant, take off the thermostat, install a new one, and fill the fluid all the way up. It may not fix it but that's where I would start, thinking the thermostat is stuck closed or clogged.
Good luck!

yea, the bike runs that hot when moving 30-60 mph on backroads. Is there a way to check the thermostat and see if its stuck, also is there a way to fix it without buying a new one? HOw do i go about draining and replacing my radiator fluid.
