Rising From The Grave
 

As some of you know my bike went down 2 week ago. I decided I would make a thread for my little rebuild that I'm doing.

The bike took damage to the subframe, exhaust and midpipe, all fairings, mirrors, pegs, kickstand, radiator and gauges.

I haven't had the bike long so I decided while I'm fixing everything should do some maintance at the same time. I took off headers from the bike so I could drop the oil pan that had a very annoying small leak. Cleaned out the oil pan very thoroughly. Luckily didn't find anything that shouldn't of been in there and than resealed it up some new sealant.

Installed new seals on the headers to be on the safe side. And put a new oil filter on the bike. Than some new goodies came in.

New hardware for some fairings I got off ebay that I decided not to use because of the color and the damn upper fairing is a track fairing. Didn't even notice that it has no spot for a headlight. :icon_doh: So now on the search for different fairings but at least I'm ready lol.

Tomorrow I will be switching out the subframe for a 2001 F4I subframe. Yes sir!!! Two seat conversion lol. Next week my upper cowl stay will be arriving in and I can start to mount the gauges and everything else back on. Yup even my stay bracket got bent.

For the exhaust replacement think I'm just going to go with a Danmoto (like the deep sound)

You should go for a Jardine :) great sound refined but serious when you get on the gas.
