rear suspension spring preload adjustment?? HELP
 

Im basically messing around the rear suspension spring preload that has 7 adjustments. My manual said that 3-7 are for hardspring, 2 is standard, and 1 is softspring. My question is mostly to verify Im doing this right. Counterclockwise to turn the number higher I presume? Another thing I cant really tell is what to look for as to what number Im really on. I havent messed with it yet and wanted to see how it works before I go messing around with it. Id like to basically raise the tailend a tad bit for my height. Any help would be grateful!
